The Various Dynamics of the Family Tribe
We don't get to choose who we're born to and the circumstances that they give us. However, we do get to choose we keep around us. I found my tribe in the Adult Industry.
Don’t get it twisted, I (think) a came from a great family. I mean, it takes a village and that I had growing up. It wasn’t a silver spoon, but I still got a ‘Griswald’ experience. As a whole, my family including aunts, uncles, cousins and extended are all pretty supportive, but we all know when it comes to money family can get funny.

So, not getting into the gritty details, when the finances got tough for my mom and me and was just me and my mom to deal with it. My family did not agree and it would be years that we started communicating again.
A couple of years into my stripper career and I find myself at a new club with people that I’m connected to for life. They say that family is were you learn about community and its super true. This is to talk about appreciating or finding your tribe.
My Stripper Family
The stripclub was my first true tribe. I learned about confrontations and how we get past them for the common goal; when going through trials there was encouragement; celebrations and mourning we came together; and we don't always speak but we always seem to come back when we need each other the most.
Tribal Acceptance
As we grow, our tribe will evolve and sometimes dissolve. It's just the way it happens whether we want it or not. Embrace that there are people out there that want you as part of their tribe.
